You’re invited to join us for breakfast!
Bring a guest to introduce to HSAC and enjoy a special presentation by the Jennie Ed/CBPD Homeless Outreach Program (HOP) Team. On March 4th, 2024, Council Bluff Police Department initiated the Homeless Outreach Project (HOP), a 90-day mission to establish a coordinated and effective response to the homeless population in Council Bluffs. With the help of our First Responder Community Health Coach and community partners, HOP will remain, now rebranded as the Homeless Outreach Program. As the report states, "Being homeless is not a crime, but we must ensure safe and healthy living conditions throughout our community. Through a combination of enforcement and assistance, the CBPD will ensure that persons experiencing homelessness abide by ordinances regulating encampments and conduct in public places."
Must register by May 14th to ensure there is enough food for all attendees. This is a free event for all.
